Well being from the south and being a good southern girl....GRITS and being from his era.... I just love Elvis....My favorite song in my childhood was You Ain't Nothing But a Hounddog....Used to sing it...dancing almost in diapers... LOL

I have also gone to several of his concerts....Had tickets to go to the concert being held in Asheville NC 1 week before his death.... YIKES>>>> 30 years ago... mmmmmmmmmm Stood in line all night to get good seats....Had them.... Oh well....

Elvis has left the building>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

I was 11 when he died and just about remember the news reports.

I'm not a massive Elvis fan but I don't dislike his music.....

Wonderful.... LOL..... Charisma dripping off him ... like his presperation.....throwing scar ves into the audience.... girls fighting for them... he always ended his concert with the Trilogy.... he would leave the stage... and he would come back... at 3 times.... the last time he left...they lowered the lights .... and said Elvis has left the building.... I could go on and on.... If you ever saw the clips of his last concert... that is what it was like....I really enjoyed Elvis.... I must admit .... I was and still am... a big E fan.... LOL

I would love to have seen him 'live' ............... must have been quite an experience! I loved Trilogy! It always gave me goose-bumps!

There are a couple of tribute programmes on TV here tonight which I might try and catch.

Yep............... that says it all! Explains why he keeps reappearing! He didn't die - he was abducted by aliens.
