Does anyone watch this??

I must admit I've never watched the previous series before but after hearing everyone rave on about it. So when this new series started I thought I'd have a look see and see what all the fuss is about.

I now have to own up and say I'm a convert ~ I LOVE it

Oh, I've watched it since it first started!   It's my favourite 'reality' show!   Tho' I must say the morons in the present series aren't as good as earlier ones.

Hope you watch the "You're fired" on BBC2 which runs after The Apprentice finishes, RS.   That's equally good too.

I don't know to be honest - the characters just don't seem to come across so well as previous series!  Raef shouldn't have gone last night - I probably would have chosen Michael................ he's a complete idiot!

Claire will probably end up among the finalists She's got the gift of the gab, but whether that saves her in the run-up to the final contest remains to be seen.   - I have the impression Sir Alan secretly likes the way she can talk herself out of situations!

Alex and Lee are also strong contenders, but I didn't like the way Alex had a go at Sara earlier in the series.    Lucinda I know very little about, tho' I don't feel comfortable with her, but Helene could be interesting.  She went straight from GCSEs into a work environment and worked her way up - and I think that Sir Alan particularly respects that type of person (as, of course he started out in business that way!)   Might be a stalking horse........... watch this space!!!

The BBC Apprentice website is here:  www.bbc.co.uk/apprentice Worth taking a look at.

But remember next week it's on Tuesday - same time.  Just for that week because of football on the Wednesday.  So don't be caught out!

One of the funniest episodes of the last series concerned the eventual winner - Simon.  The teams had to sell stuff on a TV shopping channel, and his task was to promote a trampoline.

You can see the video here:   http://www.bbc.co.uk/apprentice/videos/vid/185.html

I also think he likes the way she can just stand up and talk off the top of her head, no need for notes etc as proven last night. She knows her job and can do it well

And I agree about Helene......... intersting

Don't forget the Apprentice is on tonight, for those interested.  Usual time of 9pm, but brought forward from it's usual Wednesday spot because of football.

I don't think it clashes with Springwatch

So, Lee won the appentice.

I'm in two minds about the outcome as I quite liked Clare and thought she was by far the stronger candidate. But, Lee did do well, never got took back in the board room and seemed an effective team leader.

But bu all accounts, Karen Brady has offered Clare a job so I suppose they're both winners

She did promise to do that if Clare didn't win.  Good for Karen Brady for keeping her promise!
