The Celtic months were invented by Robert Graves in the 1940s. the Celts had specific names for the letters of the alphabet, which are the names of trees, but the names of the months have nothing to do with trees. Graves wrote The White Goddess as a poetical speculation, it's a shame it's become a textbook.
