If anybody's interested. Radio Times are offering a free unabridged download of Hardy's "Tess of the D'Urbervilles" to celebrate the release of the new BBC TV dramatisation.

Haven't tried it myself, but I gather the talking book's around 4 1/2 hours long......... so you'd need plenty of storage capacity on CDs or your MP3 player if you decided to transfer it to other media!
