You'll love thisThis story concerns a fish restaurant of the kind that has live fish in a tank from which patrons can select whichever one they wish to have
prepared.
One day a wild green hairy lip squid was included in the fish delivery. For some reason no one ever selected it for cooking. As result the staff became rather attached to it and it prospered in the tank.
One day however a customer decided that he would like to try some wild green hairy lip squid. The staff tried to dissuade him but he insisted. So the wild green hairy lip squid was removed from the tank and taken to the kitchen for the head chef, Gervaise, to cook but Gervaise too was attached to the wild green hairy lip squid and could not bring himself to kill it. Neither could either of the two kitchen porters who unusually were both called "Hans" because they were also very fond of the little fellow. (Who wouldn't be?).
So the wild green hairy lip squid survived and is alive as I write which
just goes to show that..................
"Hans that do dishes are as soft as Gervaise with wild green hairy lip squid."

I love that joke, RS. It is one of the few jokes that I actually know!!! hehe
When I read it out loud to Mum, she did groan, though.
