I have! This makes me bloody sick!
Why should I have to pay for somebody else's broadband - it's cheap enough these days. And if expansion is required, then the ISPs should bear the cost - they're the ones going to get the benefit of new customers. The telecoms sector's not exactly poor!
And does this mean everybody who has a fixed telephone line, whether connected to the internet or not?
Just another ******* tax on those of us who already have to make economies.
Timms is a nasty bit of work too.........I've never liked him. _________________

this looks like just another tax to me ,how much of the 175m will be used anyway for the broadband and how much will line government pockets. _________________ firestorm |

Stuff like this angers me!
I fail to see why people that may not have broadband should be paying a tax so that others can have it! I have broadband... fibre optic broadband that has nothing to do with my phone line, or anyone else's! So why on earth should my 88 year old grandmother be paying for me to have broadband on her already too high phone bill when I am paying for the broadband myself?
The only good thing about this is that if they are serious about implementing it I can't see "New" Labour winning the next election, I know that I'm not voting for the useless bunch... I'd vote for a compost heap first (at least that's meant to be full of shit! ) _________________
