Is there any particular music you listen to when meditating that you may wish to recommend to others?? And like wise ~ are there any you think are truly awful!!
The reason I ask is that my old CD is scratched and I need to replace it so I just wondered if anybody had any recommendations.

When I find it, I'll let you know the title, but one that I've got and use for meditation (when I get the time!) is nothing but metal sounds ....... ie Tibetan Singing Bowls, Ting-shas etc. It's amazingly peaceful and relaxing. _________________

| I don't really have any names. But I find nature sounds to be most soothing. I look for cd's that have sounds of water the most. Sometimes sounds of wolves or other animals. I find ones that talk distracting. |

Water - likewise! I've found the Echoes of Nature CDs very soothing - especially Ocean Waves. _________________

| Not sure about meditating to it but the music of Billy McLaughlin (solo guitar) is beautiful and very relaxing. He has done a couple of albums that are meant to be meditative but I've not heard them yet so can't comment. |

I'm terrible at meditating (I always used to get interupted, too) but I only have to hear the sound of rain and it calms me so much that I am nearly asleep after a few minutes
